We are looking forward to having a great time of fellowship this Saturday, February 26th, 2011 at John Prince Park for the 8th Annual Race for Faith® 5K/10K Run & Walk.

 

The Race Schedule for the morning is as follows:

 

6:00 am  Day of Race Registration and Packet Pick-up

7:30 am  Race starts for the 5k and 10k runners

7:35 am  Race starts for the 5k walkers

9:15 am  Free Kids 100-yard Fun Dash (For 8 years old and younger)

9:30 am  Awards Ceremony and Prize Drawing

For those who have already pre-registered (either at church or on your own), you will need to get there early enough to go to the Packet/Race Number Pick-up table to get your Race Number/T-shirt and other goodies.  

 

For those who are planning to participate, but have not yet registered, you will want to get there as early as possible.  Remember that parking may be tight.  You also want to have time to warm-up and stretch and then make a potty stop or two. (This is key! Take a look at this photo as a reminder to LOCK the door first!  Sorry, had to throw in a little bathroom humor.)

 

Sally will have the Bad Frog tent up near the Pavilion by the race start and bathrooms.  We would like to assemble at the Bad Frog tent at 7:00 am before the 7:30 am race start to pray together as a group.  

 

Directions to John Prince Park From I-95: Exit 6th Avenue and head West. At Congress Ave, turn left, heading South. The park entrance will be on the east side of the road (left side) approximately 200 yards South of 6th Ave.
