More About the BAD FROG/ Sunset 2 Sunrise Relay Fundraiser …

     The Sunset 2 Sunrise Relay is a 24-hour Ultra-Distance, 178 mile relay road-running race across the state of Florida.  Beginning in Ft Myers and finishing in Jensen Beach,  teams consist of anywhere from 2—12 members, running continuously in a relay fashion.  Each running leg is between 3 and 8 miles in length with predetermined runner exchange spots. Each runner rotates through the 36-leg course, running 3 legs for an average total of 15 miles.

Team BAD FROG’s mission in this event is threefold:

• To use our athletic gifts to reach non-Christian athletes for Christ: to be salt and light (Matt. 5:13 &16)
• To fellowship with each other in a team-building atmosphere (Hebrews 10:25); and,
• Inspired by the Isaiah Running Project: To raise funds to further our mission as well as help disadvantaged children who have been affected by abuse and neglect (Matt. 25:40).

The monies Team BAD FROG raise for Sunset 2 Sunrise Relay will go directly to benefit the ministries of both Team BAD FROG and the Real Life Children’s Ranch.

    We are a group of Christian disciples committed to glorifying God through training our bodies for the sports of triathlon, running, cycling, and swimming. We work to share our faith in Jesus Christ and the Gospel with others through event outreach, fellowship, and service through missions, in our community and afar.

        Our members compete in triathlons, adventure races, marathons (½ and full) and road races; but, not all members of the team are competing athletes. -competitive members often serve as support for competing athletes and work to glorify God through serving and sharing the message of the Gospel with members of the athletic community at racing events.

Team BAD FROG welcomes everyone to join no matter what your ability.If you have an interest in ministry and athletics, we encourage you to join the team’s journey to the glory of God.

More about Real Life Children’s Ranch...

        Real Life Children’s Ranch is a faith based ministry that offers residential, family style group foster homes. Licensed by the state of Florida, they provide group foster homes for boys and girls who have been abused, abandoned and/or neglected. Real Life Children’s Ranch is a Florida, non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible.

           As a faith based charitable organization, located on the shores of Lake Okeechobee , the goal of Real Life Children’s Ranch is to give children the best possible care in a secure family atmosphere and guide them into fulfilling and productive futures. Real Life Children’s Ranch is not merely a facility to house abused and abandoned children, but it is a loving, caring environment where children learn the richness of a well-rounded life.

Real Life Children’s Ranch has served children for over 50 years by providing faith based, family style group homes.
